Natal teeth are the teeth which are present by birth. The teeth which grow during first 30 days after birth are known as neonatal teeth. These teeth are considered extra tooth or in some milk tooth which has erupted early. Cause of its occurrence is unknown.

Extraction of teeth becomes important if tooth is very loose and chances of aspiration is high. Infant must be taken to paediatric dentist for proper treatment.
