Osteochondroma is the most common bone tumor. It is usually benign. It can cause mechanical obstruction and deformities of the limb, most common being forearm and knee.

These tumors are usually left under observation till maturity.

Surgical treatment is offered if there is mechanical obstruction, deformity of the limbs or appearance of pain.

Malignant transformation is though rare but possible.
